When the mother-daughter team purchased the store in September 2007, they knew they wanted to make the shop their own. They decided it was time to go back to their roots with their family name. Many may remember Schnell's Pink Pony Farm, located on Hwy. 55 between Hamel and Loretto. Don Schnell (Deb's dad and Dusty's grandfather) and his father, Mark Schnell, were avid horsemen, raising many Shetland ponies over the years. Even though Don has passed away, Deb and Dusty feel he guides them every day. They felt the decision to change the name came from the heart, so it must be right.

The store and its owners are geared up for this year's riding and show season. They have expanded the store to carry English and Western saddles, tack, and apparel. Now they are able to meet the needs of Western saddle clubs in the area, trail riders, and pony clubs, along with eventing, hunt, and saddle seat riders. New products added to the store include the Breyer horse collection and Kent Feed products, along with the Cowgirl Tuff clothing line. The store's boot collection will be expanding, as well. The store also carries grooming needs.
